I have read many posts and conversations in roman nepali script in Facebook and other social networks. Writing in facebook, twitter, linkedin, google+, and other social media is generally informal. These communications need to be understandable to all whether it is written in english, नेपाली or roman nepali or any other informal and slang languages! However, writing in roman nepali script has some rules. Here I have presented some as well. For example: " मेरो नाम सन्तोष अधिकारी हो । मेरो जागिर काठमाडौंमा छ । मलाई घुमघाम गर्न रमाईलो लाग्छ । "लाई यसरी लेखिन्छ : mero naam santosh adhikari ho. mero jagir kathmanduma chha. malaee ghumgham garna ramaeelo lagchha.
